My Luggage moved to africa without me
Four suitcases, nearly 200 pounds, and an eight-hour road trip later, pieces of my life are officially in Africa. Turns out, sometimes following God looks a lot like Madagascar with a Keurig, Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, and a whole lot of luggage.
Meet the missionary
Hi, I’m Christina.
In September 2026, I’ll be moving to Kilgoris, Kenya, to serve as a full-time missionary intern at the SOS Mission Base, where I’ll support the ministries of SOS Church Kilgoris and SOS Bible School Kilgoris.
Looking back, I can see God’s hand guiding every step of a journey I never could have planned, leading me through Bible School in Stockholm, Leadership Academy in Kilgoris, and now into full-time missions back in Kenya.

Through the SOS Mission Base, I’ll have the opportunity to support our local church ministry, leadership development, discipleship, and outreach in Kilgoris, Kenya. No two days will look exactly the same, but each one is an opportunity to serve wherever God leads.

The SOS Mission Base serves as a hub for ministry, discipleship, leadership development, and outreach in Kilgoris, Kenya.

As a missionary intern, I’ll support the ministries of SOS Church Kilgoris and SOS Bible School Kilgoris through communications, administration, events, discipleship, and special ministry projects. Serving under the leadership of Principal Milana, I’ll have the opportunity to learn, grow, and gain firsthand experience in ministry leadership throughout my internship year.

The ministry serves church members, Bible school students, local leaders, families, and communities throughout the region.

Located in southwestern Kenya, Kilgoris is home to a growing church community and serves as the base for ministry, discipleship, and outreach efforts throughout all of Africa and beyond.
